HOLLYWOOD ORCHESTRA is the combination of Hollywood Strings, Hollywood Brass, Hollywood Orchestral Woodwinds, and Hollywood Orchestral Percussion; collectively the most detailed and comprehensive orchestral virtual instrument collection available.

HOLLYWOOD ORCHESTRA includes EastWest's PLAY 5 64-bit software, that includes powerful scripting for ease of use, and more user control than any other collection — all recorded in the famous EASTWEST STUDIO 1, the home of major Hollywood Soundtracks and Television Themes.

In addition to HOLLYWOOD ORCHESTRA, the production team recently added HOLLYWOOD SOLO INSTRUMENTS which includes Hollywood Harp, Hollywood Solo Cello, and Hollywood Solo Violin. Each of the Hollywood Solo Instruments can be purchased separately.

These Hollywood Solo Instruments (Harp, Solo Cello, and Solo Violin) were recorded, engineered, and produced with the superior level of sound quality and expression the EastWest brand is known for. Each of the instruments was recorded in Studio 1 at EastWest Studios, the same studio Hollywood Orchestra was recorded in. This gives the complete Hollywood Orchestral series a consistent sound and ambience, which emulates a traditional large studio orchestra.

Truly the holy grail of orchestral virtual instruments HOLLYWOOD ORCHESTRA and HOLLYWOOD SOLO INSTRUMENTSwere released in sections as each section of the orchestra was completed, and have already received multiple major awards from the international press, including Electronic Musician's "Editor's Choice Award" and Future Music's "Platinum Award" for its unprecedented detail, superior true legato, sound quality, and sound control.
