PLACING AN ORDER WITH US

We accept payment by Visa Credit, Visa Debit, Visa Electron, Mastercard, Maestro, JCB Credit, Paypal, Bankers Transfer/Draft, Postal or Money Orders, Cash or Personal Cheque (Please allow up to 10 days for personal and business cheques to clear – Express clearing is available for a small charge.)

All goods and services are sold in accordance with the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/eu). The purpose of this directive is to ensure that the consumer is given clear and accurate information about the goods and services supplied by the retailer to help give consumers confidence when buying online. Note: Goods and Services sold prior to the 13th June 2014 where sold in accordance with The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 (SI 2000 No.2334). 

 

Mediaspec reserve the right to deliver only to the cardholder’s billing address. Your credit/debit card will be charged by Mediaspec at the time of order in order to secure the goods. No property or title of the goods shall pass from Mediaspec to the customer until payment has been received in full.

We may refuse to accept an order if:-

  • goods are no longer available
  • we are unable obtain authorisation for your payment or suspect fraud
  • there has been a pricing or product description error; or
  • you do not meet any eligibility criteria for special pricing as laid out on this site

Prices on this site are in Pounds Sterling and include all applicable taxes at current rates.  They do not include any shipping charges.

Prices are reviewed regularly and though we try to ensure that all prices on this website are accurate, errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of goods you have ordered we will inform you as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. In the event that we are unable to contact you we will cancel the order and you will not be charged or will receive a full refund.

If we are unable to supply a product, we will inform you of this as soon as possible.

Use of this website constitutes acceptance of the terms and conditions laid out on this page. MS NORTH LTD reserves the right to amend these terms at any time, without warning. All changes will be made current on this page. 

 

DELIVERY

Delivery times for orders will vary according to availability of products. Mediaspec use DPD couriers to collect our packages from our depot, and if required, customers can obtain a DPD tracking number to allow the tracking of parcel. If your email address is provided at the time of purchase, we usually pass this information onto DPD, who will email you an expected time of arrival within an hour timeframe.

On the day of delivery, our courier, DPD, will arrive with your order. It is important that someone is available to accept delivery of the parcel and have to remind you that, if it is delivered to a business address, it is your responsibility to ensure that any reception staff are authorised to accept delivery on your behalf.

We would urge you inspect the parcel on delivery to ensure that it has not been damaged in transit and refer you to the terms and conditions of using DPD. By placing an order with us you do accept these conditions of carriage.

It is worthwhile inspecting the items for damage before you sign for delivery. Please note that damaged or missing items must be reported within 24 hours. Unfortunately, courier companies insist that collections cannot be made from their depot.

Delivery is during normal working hours, Monday – Friday, and normally by 2-day courier. (Some parts of Scotland and Ireland may take longer). Please allow up 7 working days for delivery.

If you are not in when the courier attempts to deliver they will put a card through your door with a contact telephone number on so that you can re-arrange delivery.

Orders that are returned to us due to an incomplete or incorrect address provided by the customer will not be returned to the customer and will only be re-sent at the customer’s expense. Additionally, orders that are abandoned by the customer, for whatever reason, will not be returned to the customer and will only be re-sent at the customer’s expense.

The customer is responsible for the goods from the time of delivery and liability to insure the goods then rests with the customer.

DELIVERY COST

UK Mainland Customers:
The correct shipping charges will be automatically calculated on your shopping basket and additional shipping options can be selected on your shopping basket. 

Standard Shipping Rates:

  • £10.00 - Next day mainland UK delivery up to 25Kgs (an extra £0.50 applies per Kg thereafter)
  • Free  - On selected products 

We cannot warrant the suitability of goods for a particular purpose, and you should check specifications and compatibility with manufacturers or ourselves before ordering.

 

GOODS

All our prices are shown in Pounds Sterling (GBP) and are displayed inclusive of VAT at the current rate of 20%. VAT is payable by all customers within the EU. 

Medaispec does not take any responsibility for any import taxes, customs charges or administration fees payable on orders made outside of the European Union zone. It is the customer's responsibility to cover all charges related to Customs and the import of goods. 

All our prices, descriptions and shipping charges are reviewed regularly and we endeavour to ensure that the prices and the information provided on our website are correct at all times. In the event of an error in the information provided by our website, Mediaspec will notify you of this error immediately. In the event that a price or shipping charge is incorrectly displayed, Medioaaspec will offer you the product/service at the correct price, or a full refund. We are not under any obligation to honour an incorrect price.

WARRANTY

All goods are supplied with a 12 month manufacturer's warranty unless specified otherwise. All pre-owned items carry a 90 day warranty. P

Any extended warranty offered by any manufacturer must be arranged by the customer. We are not responsible for organising such warranties. We can provide additional receipts upon request. 

 

CANCELLATIONS AND RETURNS

Under the conditions outlined in the EU Consumer Rights Directive and in Section 4.2, Mediaspec operates a 14 day cooling-off returns policy for products that are still in their original condition. This allows UK and EU customers to cancel their order up to 14 days after receipt of their goods. If you wish to cancel your order during this 14-day period, please notify us in writing by letter or by email at support@guitarguitar.co.uk. A telephone call is not sufficient without the express written approval from Mediaspec

The right to return goods to us as mentioned in Section 4.1 does NOT apply in the following situations:

  • Financed Goods - Goods purchased on finance cannot be returned under the 14-days cooling off period. Financed goods are conditional based sales where the consumer is bound to purchase the goods from the outset but do not own the goods until they have fulfilled all conditions of the contract (typically through complete payment of all financial instalments).
  • Special Orders - Any order which has been specified or customized to the customers specifications. This also includes any item which is not typically stocked by Mediaspc and has been ordered in at the request of the customer.
  • Health and Safety - any product that has come in contact with a customer's ear or mouth, such as microphones, headphones, earphones or product with a mouthpiece that have been used or where the hygienic seal has been separate or broken.
  • Software, Media and CDs - where the packaging has been unsealed (unless the product is faulty) and copyright policies apply, any product registered via digital or physical means becomes immediately exempt for any returns.


If you wish to exercise your right to cancel this contract within the cancellation period, you should return the goods to us within within 14 days and take reasonable care in doing as detailed in the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU). The risk and cost of returning the goods to us shall be accepted by you unless you have notified us that the goods have arrived damaged or faulty (Section 3.4) and this has been verified by us. 

As outline in the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU), failure to return items in their original condition will result in deducations from your refund or refusal of a return. As a result, we may make deductions to your refund for any diminution in value of the returned goods where the handling of goods has "gone beyond the sort of handling that might reasonably be allowed in a store" 

Upon cancellation of the contract we will credit your account with a full refund for the goods. Normally refunds are processed the same day if the goods haven't been dispatched or on the day of receiving the goods back, however, in any event, not later than 14 days after receipt of the cancelled goods. If you do not return the goods or do not pay the costs of delivery to us, we shall be entitled to deduct the direct cost of recovering the goods from the amount of the refund.

These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights.

All goods are sold subject to the The Sale of Goods Act 1979, the Sale and Supply of Goods Act 1994, the Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977. E&OE. and the Distance Selling Act 2000.
