This promises to be an exciting bash at Glasgow's Cottiers Theatre. Scotland's own Karen Dunbar will be hosting the ceremony which kicks off at 18.30 on Wednesday, 31st January with a welcome drinks reception. New Chair of the Student Awards, James Wilson, will be on hand with many other industry professionals who are keen to support this event. Sponsor, Mediaspec's Eric Joseph, will be presenting the award for Editing.

The annual recognition of the finest student television production in Scotland, across, animation, factual, comedy & entertainment, short feature and drama, with students from Edinburgh College of Art, University of Edinburgh, The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, University of Stirling, Fife College, North East Scotland College, Glasgow Clyde College, Edinburgh Napier University, Glasgow Caledonian University and The University of the West of Scotland.

In addition, we will be presenting Craft awards for production design, sound, editing and camera.

All entrants are invited to attend, as the nominees will only be announced on the night. Although everyone won't receive an RTS Scotland Awards, we hope the night is a winner for all of those who attend as they gather under one roof and celebrate the future of the television industry with their peers.

This year RTAS Scotland are taking the ceremony to a new level. Come along to meet Scotland's future television talent at Cottiers Theatre Glasgow with free hot food, drink and live music from The Micro Band. https://www.facebook.com/themicroband/

Dress code: casual or smart.
