Mediaspec Event 24th May 2017May 03, 2017 - 01:44
Mediaspec, in partnership with Avid Technology, is hosting an exclusive event on May 24th 2017, showcasing both the S3 and S6 Avid consoles.
The Lighthouse in Glasgow is the perfect venue for this event that will take the form of two seminars showcasing the S3 and S6’s game changing useage in both a Music and Post environment.
Avid's Pro Tools | S3 packs the functionality you need into a sleek, ergonomic mixing control surface and AVB audio interface. Giving you control over any EUCON-enabled software including Pro Tools, Cubase, Logic, Media Composer, and others. Be able to create and record tracks, write automation, instantiate plug-ins, manage routing, any function a mouse and keyboard would be used for. And with its built-in 4 x 6 AVB audio interface, the Avid Pro Tools | S3 is ready for professional recording and mixing wherever you are.
The S6 is Avid's flagship control surface, taking the best from the System 5 and ICON series and putting over 20 years of console innovation to the test. Its revolutionary modular construction allows you to create the desk YOU want. With full EUCON implementation the S6 breaks new ground Whether its a small 8-fader editing controller or a full-size rig with several channel strips and detailed visual metering, you'll get all of the hands-on control you need from your Avid S6 system.
Both consoles will be demonstrated by AVID's solutions specalist Simon Sherbourne who will be joined by Kahl Henderson (SAVALAS Post Production facilities), Stuart McCredie (Engineer/Producer) and Tom Aston (Technical Director SSR Manchester/London/Jakarta)
Each seminar will be followed by an informal Q & A with Simon Sherbourne and the guest speakers.
Places are limited, so book your place early.
