Benburb hit the road this Saturday to play the newly formed Newmains United Community FC at Victoria Park (kick-off 2.00 pm). It was with great sadness that Coltness United were forced to go out of the game towards the end of last season. This meant that Benburb only played Coltness United once last season, a 7-3 win at Tinto Park last October. Everyone in the Junior game knows how hard Secretary Jim Devine worked to keep the club afloat on a week-to-week basis. Thankfully Jim has not been lost to the Juniors, as he has returned as the Secretary of the new club.

Newmains United Community FC have made a decent start to the season with one win a draw and two defeats in the Sectional League Cup. They lost their opening league match at Ashfield last Saturday 4-2.

For Benburb supporters travelling to the game on Saturday, Newmains United Community FC play their home matches at Victoria Park, Newmains - the same ground that Coltness United played at.
