Benburb visit the scene of their worst
league result since March 1918 this Saturday
(kick-off 2.00pm) hoping to exorcise the
ghost of their 10-0 defeat last season.
This is a game that will long last in the
memory of everyone involved with Benburb.
The fact that Benburb had Billy Davidson
and Scott Munro sent-off prior to half-time
did not help matters, but the Govan men
did gain revenge in the return game at
Tinto Park when they won 6-3 last February.
This will be only the 13th league meeting
between the sides. Although Benburb have
won all six meetings at Tinto Park, they
have only returned to Govan with all the
points on one occasion out of six.
